  8.           IBM PC or compatible with 80386 processor or higher 
  9.           Microsoft Windows 3.10 & up and Vbrun300.dll
  10.       VGA, Ms-Dos 5.0 & up is recommeded.

  14.           enhanced mode: approx. 4 MB
  15.           Approx. 1.2 MB of free disk space

  22. IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING VBRUN300.DLL
  23.  
  24. This program requires the VBRUN300.DLL file. If you 
  25. do not already have this file in your Windows\System 
  26. directory, obtain a free copy of the file from most 
  27. online service or BBS.

  30. The file(s) #ZH*.EXE are self-extracting files.     
  31. Files will be extracted (placed) into the directory where
  32. the exe is located when run.

  34.      Place file(s) #ZH*.exe in desired directory.

  36.      In examples below replace c:\dummy with
  37.      name of directory where file(s) are located.
  38.      [Enter] = press enter key

  40.      From Windows Program Manager choose the RUN command.

  42.      Type the path and name of each file and press enter.
  43.           Example:  C:\dummy\#zh1.exe   [Enter]

  52.     Unarchive the files into a separate directory.

  63. Problems installing Zip-Hard:

  67. NOTE: ANSI.SYS
  68.  
  69.      The first time Zip-Hard runs it must set itself up to run on
  70. your computer.  On some models of PC's, when Zip-Hard first runs
  71. without ansi.sys installed in the config.sys file an error can occurs.
  72.      To correct or prevent this problem, edit your config.sys file
  73. and add the line:     DEVICE=C:\DOS\ANSI.SYS   Save the file and 
  74. reboot your computer.  The example assumes ansi.sys file is located on
  75. drive C: and in the DOS directory.

  79. NOTE: About Memory
  80.  
  81.    Zip-Hard should not have memory problems with Windows running
  82. in enhanced mode.  Windows running in standard mode must have
  83. approximately 768 free bytes of extended memory for Zip-Hard to
  84. run.  To check your memory start Program Manger; under HELP click
  85. About Program Manger; you will see (Free extended memory). See
  86. your Windows documentation for ways to increase memory.

  90. Evaluation Version

  93.      This is an evaluation version of Zip-Hard software. The Span
  94. Disk switch is not available.  This version will not allow you
  95. to zip a file that will require more than one disk, while using
  96. Zip-Hard.
  97.      The registered version enables the Span Disk switch.  This
  98. allows you to use multible disks to back up your entire hard drive
  99. or easily update directories you have previously backed up.
